The Religious Affiliation of Celebrated Costume Designer
From: Axel Madsen. Stanwyck, HarperCollins: New York, NY (1994), page 140:
The designer [Edith Head] was at the end of a marriage to an alcoholic. Friends couldn't understand why she stuck it out with Charles Head, a sales executive who in the face of his wife's success retreated to booze. Her Catholic upbringing kept her married, but the other man in her life, Barbara [Stanwyck] learned, was Wiard Boppo Ihnen, a set designer at Fox.
