This Thursday was Thanksgiving and this Friday is Black Friday… We are more American than Uncle Sam! But beware, let us never ever lose our identity.Could there be anything more beautiful than saying thank you? I have many things to be thankful for. And among others, and as the ABBA would sing: “I want to thank the songs, which convey emotions…”. How wise these Swedes! Y what good company are always the songs in good, regular and bad times. Now I’m very addicted to Demi Lovato’s Skyscraper. What a great song and what a fantasy of lyrics and inspiration: an intact skyscraper in the midst of an apocalypse in which, in the distance, as always, the sun rises from the other side of the horizon. Did you know that it mysteriously looks a lot like La última de Aitana? It looks so similar and the inspiration is so, so obvious that they had to withdraw Aitana’s song to re-upload it to streaming platforms, accrediting the composers of Lovato’s Skyscraper as co-authors. Thanks to them, too. And if the “thanks” were yesterday, today is a good day to think about the most promising and musical future. It’s one day to enjoy offers, promotions and impulse purchases with measure (and entitled to a refund). Tickets for concerts, musicals, various shows and dozens of offers to buy 3×2 vinyl that you will never physically listen to but that will be precious on your posturing shelf. Hopefully a couple of discounted tickets to Coldplay in Barcelona, right? Or a Taylor Swift tour announcement going through Spain… Let’s visualize!
Although there are days that are darker than others, everyone has their point and, in the end, when it clears up, they are also appreciated. The following days will be clear and of skyscrapers under reconstruction.
