IndieLisboa Film Festival Winners
National Competition
In the national competition, the winning work was “Tão Pequeninas, Tinham Ar de Serem Já Crescidas”, by Tânia Dinis. The festival celebrated its 21st edition this year, with 26 national films in competition, the largest number ever, according to the organization.
Best Director for Portuguese Feature Film
The films “Greice”, by Leonardo Mouramateus, and “Mãos de Fogo”, by Margarida Gil, shared the prize for best director for a Portuguese feature film.
Other Awards
The New Talent prize went to “Não é Demasiado Tempo”, by Bruno Ferreira, with a special mention for “Kudibanguela”, by Bernardo de Magalhães.
International Competition
Special Prizes
In the international competition, “Rising Up At Night”, by Congolese Nelson Makengo, won the special prize of the jury and the feature film prize went to “The Human Surge 3”, by Argentine Eduardo Williams, with a special mention given to their work.
Short Films
In the international competition for short films, “The Oasis I Deserve”, by the French Inès Sieulle, won the grand prize, while the jury prize went to “Matta And Matto”, by the Swiss Bianca Caderas and Kerstin Zemp, and “The House is On Fire, Might as Well Get Warm”, by the Algerian Mouloud Aït Liotna.
