Virgin River Season 3: Plot
Season 2 ended with a huge cliffhanger: Mel found Jack shot in his bar. In season 3 we will find out if Jack will survive his injury. Showrunner Sue Tenney revealed to TVLine that the question of who shot Jack could drag on for several seasons. Season 3 is unlikely to provide an answer to this question. Still, there are numerous suspects.
So Vince, Charmaine, Brady, or Calvin could be the culprits. Most likely, Calvin wanted revenge on Jack for being arrested for him. In our article on Jack’s attack, we discuss who has what motive for the crime.
In addition to the main story about Mel and Jack, we also learn more about Preacher in Season 3. After all, his plans to leave the Virgin River are threatened by Paige’s son Christopher.
Another important point of the new episodes will be how Mel and Jack’s relationship develops while Charmaine is expecting Jack’s children. But some fans suspect that Charmaine’s twins aren’t Jack’s children at all. Season 3 will also see more flashbacks of Mark and Mel and their relationship. Actor Daniel J. Gillies reveals that in an interview with ET Canada.
