In January 2020 Netflix uploaded the second season of one of the most beloved titles of 2019: Sex Education. The first was seen by about 40 million homes only within the first month of its release, leaving no escape for the streaming giant who, willingly, announced the production of season 2 just twenty days after its debut.
Success is undeniable. But the second chapter, did it get the same response from the public? It seems so! Barely a month after the debut, Netflix announced that it had renewed Sex Education for season 3 with a video announcement.
Indeed, according to Spoiler TV, the service had already foreseen a continuation a couple of days after the loading of season 2. We do not have official information yet, however, Gillian Anderson said she was confident that the series can continue even beyond the third chapter.
Sex Education 3 season when it comes out
Netflix has finally announced the release date of the Sex Education 3 season. The debut is expected, as anticipated by a report of the service, during the second half of the year. To be precise, we are talking about September 17, 2022. On that occasion, all the episodes that make up the third chapter will be released simultaneously.
Production was supposed to start in May 2020, but due to a health emergency, the shooting was initially postponed to a later date. Between June and July 2020, then, the first updates on English productions began to circulate. The Witcher, for example, had resumed work around mid-August. According to Deadline, Sex Education was also expected to return to the set in the same month.
