Fresh! ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Will Release On ‘Spoiler’!

The American streaming giant Netflix has many short and long-term projects for its followers and subscribers, such as the series ‘ Avatar: The Last Airbender ‘, a live-action adaptation of the famous Nickelodeon animated series.

When the platform first revealed plans to make a remake of ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’, original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko took the lead on that remake.

However, both abandoned the Netflix live-action project at the end of 2020, after spending several years developing it. The duo alleged creative differences, but Netflix insisted the series would move on.

Albert Kim reportedly took over as showrunner in early 2022. However, no official news regarding the Last Airbender-inspired series had been revealed until now.

The Story In The Series Would Be Reinvented

And it is that according to point from the North Hollywood Buzz portal (via CBR), the start of the filming of the series would be scheduled for November of this year in Vancouver (Canada), and would end in May 2022.

Netflix has not confirmed any of this yet, so for now, fans should take the news with a grain of salt. Above all, because it is already known that the start dates can vary at any moment.

The news would undoubtedly be a great joy for all the fans and followers. These have had many doubts about the plans of the Netflix platform without the creators DiMartino and Konietzko.

However, rumors suggest that the series would offer a reinvention of Aang’s origin story as a child who was “adopted at birth”, rather than being cared for by extinct Air Nomads like the Avatar. Katara and Sokka’s stories would also be reinvented, as would Zuko’s.

As of now, it can be expected that the live-action will hit Netflix screens in mid-2022, though nothing has been confirmed officially so far.
