In the guise of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle is supposed to destroy humanity with an alien – and begins to doubt the mission. We’ll tell you what is known about “Resident Alien” Season 2 so far.

When his spaceship is struck by lightning, an alien has to make an emergency landing on earth. There he not only kills the coroner Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle (Alan Tudyk) but also assumes his identity.

In a secret mission, the alien is supposed to level all other people to the ground as well. But gradually he develops human feelings and finds himself in a moral dilemma. The young boy recognizes his true form.

Is there a second season of “Resident Alien” coming?

There is good news for all science fiction fans: In spring 2022, “Resident Alien” was officially extended for a second season. So it was clear even before the first episode was broadcast that the audience could expect a sequel.

    “Resident Alien” Season 2 Release.

Based on the comic series of the same name by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse, “Resident Alien” premiered on January 27, 2022, in the USA, The first broadcast followed on April 8, 2022. The science-fiction comedy series was originally supposed to start in mid-2020 but has been postponed.

There is currently no concrete start date for season 2 of “Resident Alien”. It is clear, however, that the sequel should come out in 2022. The reason for the early extension of the series is probably the outstanding audience figures: According to Syfy, the first episode already had more than nine million viewers in the USA alone.

Is Resident Alien Season 2 on Sky?

The first broadcast of “Resident Alien” took place in the USA as well as on the station Syfy. In this country, Syfy is available on Sky and Magenta TV, among others.

    “Resident Alien” Season 2 plot.

    – Attention: This will be followed by spoilers for season 1.

How exactly it will continue after the season finale of the first season in “Resident Alien” is not yet known. However, it is to be expected that the moral dilemma for Alien Harry will gradually become more uncomfortable.

Although he leaves earth in the season finale of Season 1, Max is on board the spaceship as a stowaway – for Harry, it is almost inevitable to return to earth and bring the boy back. There, however, his secret threatens to become public, because two agents are already on the track of the alien.

On the other hand, it is questionable whether other aliens will slowly become impatient and inquire personally about the state of affairs on earth. After all, Harry didn’t finish the mission as instructed.
